5th Grade Homework---Winter Olympics Due Tuesday, March 11th

Students,
The Winter Olympics is the theme of your next homework assignment.  You are going to pick from any of the sports I talk about in class or from any of the ones you have seen on your own during the games.
Directions- Select a sport from The Winter Olympics.  Pick the one you would like to do the most and explain in a detailed paragraph why you would want to compete in that sports.

This website has an extensive list of some of the events. http://www.sochi2014.com/en

Ideas for your paragraph- Why do you like this sport?  What would you have to do to become good at it?  What type of equipment do you need for it?

Ask me if you have any questions,
Mr. Goldstein
