World Series Baseball

Hello students,
The World Series (baseball championship) has been very exciting so far. The Texas Rangers and The St. Louis Cardinals are both tied at 2 wins each. The first team to win 4 games will win the World Series. The games have been captivating and are definitely worth watching. There will only be three more games starting with tonight, Monday at 8pm.

This would be great to use for your Homework #3 assignment!

Football Season

Students,
Many of you are enjoying the football unit which is great! You can watch football on television on Saturdays and Sundays at almost any time. Also, there are many high school football games you can attend with friends or family on Friday nights or Saturday that are very inexpensive and serve as great entertainment. Please ask me if you need help finding a game to go to.

The Paterson home teams are Eastside and Kennedy High School teams.

Have a great weekend,
Mr. Goldstein

Stretching

Hello students!
I want to remind you of one major part of our physical education class because a lot of people missed the answer on the test! Stretching in gym is done for two reasons; to prevent an injury and also to help us perform better in sports. We are stretching in gym for a reason and it is important to remember this especially when we get older and become adults. It is easier to get injured in sports as we get older!
